The Ultimate Vintage race and air show

What Makes a Vintage Race Weekend Even Better than Usual?

How about tossing a vintage air show into the mix.

The Sebring Classic 12 Hour will combine our two favorite types of events: vintage racing and classic air shows.

Walk through the Sebring International Raceway paddock December 1-4 and you'll be treated to an up-close view of some of the most legendary racing machines to have ever hit the track. But the eye candy doesn't stop there. There will also be rows of World War II aircraft.

But this isn't just a glorified car show. Spectators at the Alan Jay Automotive Network HSR Classic 12 Hours of Sebring Presented by Classic Motorsports will be treated to 3 days of great vintage racing, fly-overs by the vintage aircraft and much more. Prepare for sensory overload.

The Cars

Five period-correct groups of legendary race cars will be featured competing in one-hour sessions, four times each over the race weekend.  Groups will include everything from the Porsche 911 to Le Mans and Formula One veterans. The first group will take the green flag Friday afternoon.

A 3-minute pit stop during each session (driver change is optional),
will be required. When one group takes the checkered flag, the
next group is on the grid and ready to roll out behind the pace
car for their chance to race on the roads and runways of the
legendary Sebring circuit. That means continuous on-track
action. And yes, night racing will be featured on the
schedule as well.

Complementing the Classic 12 Hour will
be HSR’s signature sprint races and
endurance series.

The planes

Pistons and Props will be the simultaneous celebration of Sebring’s rich military and civil aviation history at the Classic 12 Hours of Sebring.

Before cars lapped Sebring international Raceway, the track was a World War II aircraft training base. To celebrate that heritage, all spectators will be treated to up-close looks at Various World War II flying legends.

The planes will arrive on Saturday and will be parked in the main paddock for easy access by fans.
